Purchase Executive in Sola, Ahmedabad

AgroHarvest Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive to join our team in Sola, Ahmedabad. This role is critical for sourcing high-quality agricultural commodities and ensuring efficient procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the agro-commodity market and excellent negotiation skills to secure the best deals for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase a variety of agricultural commodities including pulses, grains, oilseeds, and spices.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, traders, farmers, and commission agents.
• Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Conduct thorough comparisons of quotations to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain dynamics to inform purchasing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and an updated supplier database.
• Proactively identify and evaluate new suppliers to expand our network and improve sourcing options.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement, with a strong preference for experience in agro commodities.
• Good knowledge of agricultural commodities and prevailing market trends.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and vendor management capabilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and make quick, informed purchasing decisions.
