Printing In-Charge in Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Printing Supervisor (Rotogravure) to join our dynamic team in Bavla, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rotogravure printing processes, particularly within the flexible packaging industry, and possess exceptional leadership and technical skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our printing department, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily rotogravure printing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Cerutti or similar advanced rotogravure printing machines.
• Ensure consistent print quality, accurate colour matching, and optimal machine efficiency.
• Monitor and report key production metrics including wastage, downtime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate production records using ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Lead, train, and mentor machine operators, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and enforce safety standards and operational best practices across the printing floor.

• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical, Production, Printing Technology, or a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in rotogravure printing, with significant experience in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in operating and troubleshooting Cerutti or similar high-speed rotogravure printing machines.
• In-depth knowledge of the flexible packaging industry and its specific printing requirements.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and OEE methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Excel for production reporting and data management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
